When their world is disrupted by the return of a retired professor and his captivating young wife, Vanya and his niece Sonya are forced to confront the emptiness of their devotion, the futility of their labour, and the ache of unrequited love.
Set against the backdrop of the iconic and beautiful Carrick Hill estate, this is an immersive and intimate adaptation of Chekhov’s timeless classic. Follow the actors around the grounds as each character pines for the life not yet lived.
