From 12 November, Carrick Hill will embrace the warmth and nostalgia of a traditional Christmas. The House Museum will be adorned with decorations inspired by the Haywards' era, offering visitors a glimpse into the charm of Christmases past.
This season, immerse yourself in the playful Christmas Mouse Hunt, where mischievous mice are hidden throughout the house, and enjoy a special visit with Father Christmas, creating lasting memories with the jolly old man himself.
The Carrick Hill Shop will feature a selection of thoughtfully curated Christmas gifts, with every purchase supporting the care and conservation of the House Museum and Gardens.
Father Christmas Sessions
Join us for traditional visits with Father Christmas, where guests can enjoy a relaxed and intimate atmosphere reminiscent of Christmases past.
Share your Christmas wishes, engage in delightful conversation with the jolly old man himself, and create lasting memories. Last year's sessions sold out, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Christmas Mouse Hunt
The Carrick Hill Christmas Mouse Hunt is back for another magical year, and this time the mice have invited their friends to join in the fun!
This enchanting trail welcomes families and the young at heart to explore the historic House Museum and search for hidden mice tucked away in every room. As you wander through the beautifully decorated spaces, solve clever fun and jot them down to earn a special Christmas prize.
This year we've added some mouse master challenges, for older children and the young at heart! We have also introduced booked sessions - so be sure to book early for your preferred time.
