The community is invited to a free open day at Carrick Hill on Sunday 3 December from 10am to 4.30pm.
The House and Gardens will be open and free for all to enjoy. There will be carols, food and entertainment, plus a visit from a special guest!
The Open Day is supported by the City of Mitcham Grants Program.
Registration is required for this FREE community event.
Car Parking
Onsite car parking at Carrick Hill is limited. Your event registration does not include or guarantee an onsite carpark. We strongly recommend that visitors make alternative transport arrangements. For those driving, please be prepared that street parking will require a short walk to the grounds.

Food & Beverage
We welcome guests to BYO food and beverage. Please note no BYO alcohol is permitted.
Take-away Wood Fired Pizza & hot chips will be available for purchase at the new Pavilion. Coffee, ice cream and soft drink will be available for purchase in the gardens.
We do not have water fountains onsite to top up water bottles, so please come prepared.

Please have your registration confirmation available if asked by our team. Your registration does not include or guarantee an onsite carpark.
If you are no longer able to attend, please cancel your registration to make it available to others. You can do this by clicking the cancel button on the bottom of the registration confirmation email.
Sun-smart
Shade on the grounds is limited, please remember to be SunSmart.
No shade umbrellas or marquees will be allowed in the forma lgardens around the House Museum.
Chairs
This is a picnic event, chairs and tables are not provided. We encourage visitors to bring a picnic blanket and low folding chairs.
Pets
While pets are welcome on leads in the Carrick Hill Gardens, please be mindful that we are expecting large crowds, which may be distressing to your pet.
