Carrick Hill

Gallery

The Australian Collection The collection of Australian paintings and drawings at Carrick Hill, in spite of its surprisingly large size and the presence of major works, is the least known among its collections.
The British Collection 'Australian Citizen: British Subject' was the wording on Australian passports in the 1950s, the time when the Haywards' British art collecting activities began to lose momentum.
The French Collection Over many years Sir Edward and Lady Hayward accumulated a small, but high quality collection of French art. French paintings, prints and glass became part of the domestic scene at Carrick Hill.
